Richard Bennett

A chartered landscape architect with extensive experience of design communication, landscape design, planning and development, working on projects including small-scale urban sites through to large-scale masterplanning and historic parks and gardens. He has held an associate lecturing position at the Manchester Institute of Research and Innovation in Art and Design (MIRIAD/MMU).

Richard has worked with clients including: The Eden Project, Blenheim Palace, Barratt Homes, Peter Brett Associates, Tide Construction and London Borough of Islington. Permission has been secured for a large number of projects including schemes of 2500 residential units in Bristol and 40-storey towers in Croydon, London.

Conservation assessment and design has been a core aspect of his work experience. He has worked on projects including: Conservation Management Plans for Wimpole Hall and Sheringham Park; restoration of the monument at Box Hill;  Sevenoaks School; Hampstead Heath; the garden at the Goring Hotel; library extensions to Magdalen College and St Johns College, Oxford; and long term vision masterplans for Charlton House, Fulham Palace, Ham House, and Fenton House.
